FULAFIA SALE OF REMEDIAL, PRE-DEGREE AND IJMB ADMISSION FORMS

Federal University Lafia wishes to inform the general public that the Centre for Foundation Studies, Federal University Lafia has commenced sales of forms for Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) and Remedial & Pre-degree programmes in the University.

Details are as follows:

A. REMEDIAL/PRE-DEGREE PROGRAMMES FOR 2017/2018 SESSION

1.    Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the One-year Remedial/Pre-degree programmes of the Federal University Lafia for 2017/2018 academic session. The University runs various Science, Social Science and Arts based degree programmes in the following Faculties: Arts, Science, Medical Science and Social Sciences.
 
2.    Entry Requirements:
To qualify for admission into:

Remedial programme (Science): A candidate must have at least three (3) O’level credits which must include the following: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.  

Remedial programme (French):   A candidate must have at least three (3) O’level credits which must include the following: English Language, Mathematics, French or Literature in English.

Pre-Degree programme (Science): A candidate must have at least five (5) O’level credits including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in not more than two sittings.  

Pre - Degree programme (French):   A candidate must have at least five (5) O’level credits including English Language, Mathematics, French, Literature in English and any other in not more than two sittings.

3.     Method of Application:
Candidates should pay the sum of N5, 500.00 (Five Thousand, Five Hundred) Naira only to the following Account and present the bank teller at the Centre for Foundation Studies, Permanent Site of the University to obtain the form:

4.    Duration of Sale:
The forms would be on sale from July 24, 2017 to October 31, 2017.

B. INTERIM JOINT MATRICULATION BOARD (IJMB) PROGRAMME FOR 2017/2018 SESSION

1.    Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Twelve Months Interim Joint Matriculation (IJMB) Programme of the Federal University Lafia for 2017/2018 academic session. The University runs various Science, Social Science and Arts based degree programmes in the following Faculties: Arts, Science, Medical Science and Social Sciences.
 
2.    Entry Requirements:
To qualify for admission into the IJMB Programme:

Candidate must possess a minimum of five (5) credits at O-Levels from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent in not more than two sittings (3 basic subjects plus Mathematics and English Language).

Deficiency is allowed in either Mathematics for Arts candidates or English for Science candidates and not in both subjects for candidates from Educationally Less Developed (ELDS) and Catchment States of the University but must be remedied. This deficiency can also be remedied through Ordinary level IJMB Mathematics and English Langugage. 

3.     Method of Application:
Candidates should deposit a sum of N10, 000.00 (Ten Thousand) Naira only to the following Account and present the bank teller at the Centre for Foundation Studies, Permanent Site of the University to obtain the form:
